Virtual Activities and Events - Westchester

Westchester Weekend Updates

Although Westchester County moved into Phase 4 some time ago, I know many of us are still finding it a challenge to come up with things to do safely while socializing. We’ve tried to include a variety, and we hope that whatever you choose to do this weekend, that you would enjoy it to the fullest…and who knows, you may discover a new passion!
 FRIDAY, July 24
The Bronx Zoo– Ok so it’s not Westchester, but I would be remiss if I did not include their reopening to the public🦒

SATURDAY, July 25
Picnic at the Franklin D. Roosevelt State Park
Chappaqua Summer Sidewalk Sale (Starts 7/22 ends 7/25)
Kayaking on the Hudson River – For clarity, this is open to all, even those who are not Westchester residents, but you may just have to show a copy of your reservation in case you’re stopped at the entrance by the County Police or Park Rangers at any of the entrances to the launch sites.

SUNDAY, July 26
Teatown Nature Preserve – Meet the Reptiles
Lasdon Park and Arboretum

Why not stop by the Tapsmith in Croton-on-Hudson? This is a great, friendly place to sit outside and enjoy any of their unique microbrews.

WESTCHESTER WEEKEND UPDATE

What are your plans for the weekend?

I know I’m not the only one who’s happy to see an increase in activities that do not involve Zoom or FaceTime 🙂. Here is this weekend’s list of suggestions of things to do:
